Compassion
Treating every individual with dignity, respect and kindness.
A home-based care organisation in Pretoria West, standing beside the elderly, orphaned children, GBV survivors and unemployed youth.
Golden Hi Hills Home Base Care was founded in Pretoria West to address the growing challenges faced by vulnerable individuals in our community.
Many elderly residents, especially those living with dementia and Alzheimer's, require specialised care. Orphans who have lost parents to HIV/AIDS and COVID-19 need nurturing environments, food and educational support. Women experiencing gender-based violence need safety, counselling and empowerment programmes, and unemployed youth need guidance, mentorship and skills development to secure a sustainable future.

Our vision, our mission and the values behind the care.
To create a compassionate community where the elderly, orphans, women, and youth receive comprehensive care, support, and empowerment.
To provide a safe, nurturing environment and holistic services that improve the quality of life for our beneficiaries.
Treating every individual with dignity, respect and kindness.
Respecting every individual's worth.
Supporting women and youth to rebuild their lives.
Addressing physical, emotional and social needs together.
Welcoming every background.
Transparent, honest, accountable.
Strengthening local support systems for a compassionate society.
Six objectives shape every programme we run.
Provide specialised care and support for elderly people living with dementia and Alzheimer's.
Offer nurturing, stable environments for orphans affected by HIV/AIDS and COVID-19.
Build inter-sectoral collaboration with other service providers.
Create a safe space for women experiencing GBV, with counselling and empowerment programmes.
Equip unemployed youth with skills, training and mentorship to improve their employability.
Facilitate poverty-alleviation initiatives such as community food gardening.
Beyond funding, Golden Hi Hills regularly asks the community for practical support.
